Sandpetal Pottery is small-batch, made by hand, and meant to be used in your real life. Creating pots from start to finish takes time, and clay doesn’t want to be rushed. Neither do I.

Throwing on the wheel, trimming, and glazing is a spiritual, immersive process for me, and what eventually emerges from the kiln is unique. The natural variations in form and texture often bring unexpected beauty and surprising emotions, just like the sand dollars that wash up on Ocean Beach.
